Spring Receptions

Directions and Parking

Parking for the Spring Reception will be at SU's Skytop Parking Lot.  Shuttle service to the Schine Student Center, where the Spring Reception begins, will be provided.
  • Travelers on New York State Thruway (I-90) should take Exit 34A to Route 481 South. 
  • Travelers on southbound Interstate 81 should take Exit 29S to Route 481 South.
  • Travelers on northbound Interstate 81 should take Exit 16A to Route 481 North.

Exit Route 481 at the Jamesville Road exit (Exit 2).  Northbound travelers turn LEFT on Jamesville Road. Southbound travelers turn RIGHT on Jamesville Road. 

Make a quick LEFT turn on Nottingham Road.  At the intersection of Nottingham and Waring roads, bear LEFT and proceed to the first traffic light.  At the traffic light, turn LEFT on East Colvin Street.  At the second light, turn LEFT onto Skytop Road and proceed to the top of the hill.  Staff members from the Office of Admissions will greet you at the bus shelter.  Shuttle buses will take you to the Schine Student Center.  These buses will return you to your car in the afternoon.

Visitors staying at the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel and Conference Center and those without cars should
proceed directly to the Schine Student Center for check-in. 

Since your visit will include a walking throughout campus, we suggest wearing comfortable shoes.  If anyone in your party is physically challenged and needs special assistance, please call our office in advance at 315-443-3611.
