Say Yes to Education

Say Yes to Education, Inc. (Say Yes) is a national, non-profit education foundation committed to dramatically increasing high school and college graduation rates for urban youth. The Syracuse chapter of Say Yes to Education is housed within the Syracuse University School of Education, and functions as a collaborative partnership among Syracuse University, the Syracuse City School District (SCSD) and many private colleges and all of the SUNY/CUNY schools. SU's Say Yes to Education Scholarship covers tuition, fees, and books.

Syracuse University also participates in the Say Yes to Education Buffalo program.  This collaboration begins with the 2013-2014 academic year and covers tuition. SU awards Say Yes Buffalo Scholarships to entering first-year and transfer students whose family income is less than $100,000 as reported on the College Scholarship Service (CSS)/Financial Aid PROFILE. Students must annually file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE to be considered for Say Yes to Education Buffalo Scholarships.  More information regarding the application requirements can be found here. Further information regarding Say Yes Buffalo income requirements, can be found on the Say Yes website.
