Performance art group plans Sept. 11 sitting meditation on the SU Quad
September 10, 2010 Members of the City Meditation Crew (CMC), a performance art group, are planning a sitting meditation on Saturday, Sept. 11, from 8:45-10:45 a.m. on the Syracuse University Quad. During this time, members of the group will silently read the Qur’an, the central religious text of Islam.

Warehouse Gallery to present Cui Fei
September 09, 2010 Cui is a rising artist based in New York City whose nature imagery draw upon the vulnerability of life, tradition and painful events in Chinese history. With the assistance of SU students, Chinese-born Cui created her two installations and wall drawing on site, thus turning The Warehouse Gallery again into a form of laboratory.
