School of Education
The best part about my first day as a second-grade teacher was that I could not have felt more ready. I am so excited to apply all I have learned from the School of Education. My teachers really had a wonderful impact on me and on my teaching experience.
Curriculum
Inclusive Childhood Education majors combine a foundation in inclusive and general education with liberal arts knowledge to bring to their future classroom.
Courses and field experience provide deep experience in teaching methods, disability and inclusion, and adapting instruction and assessment for all learners.
Expand your knowledge and dig into your interests with a liberal arts minor from the College of Arts & Sciences or Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, plus additional electives and academic requirements for New York State certification.
