A total of 152 credits are required and both degrees can be completed in four years of study.
For the public health major, you can pursue the healthcare management concentration.
You can pursue any of the business majors offered by the Martin J. Whitman School of Management, including:

In the Public Health B.S. program, you’ll participate in experiential, community-based learning requirements across the four years of study. These experiences provide you with opportunities to apply knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world, health-related challenges. These experiences culminate with PHP 422, the Senior Year Capstone Internship Experience.
In the Business B.S., you’ll apply your management skills and knowledge to community problems through a Community Service Project in which you’ll complete a minimum of 50 unpaid hours with a maximum of five non-profit organizations. In addition, you’ll complete at least one internship after you acquire junior standing.
The Public Health B.S. program is accredited by the Council of Education for Public Health (CEPH), the independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit academic public health programs.
The Business B.S. program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The Whitman School, accredited since 1920, was the 16th business school in the U.S. to receive AACSB accreditation. AACSB is the world's largest network and global standard-setting body for business education and is recognized worldwide as the highest standard of quality.

As a graduate with a dual degree in business and public health, you can explore careers such as a healthcare manager, clinical services coordinator, health project manager, health insurance claims specialist, and patient finance specialist, or entry-level positions specific to business or public health. You can also pursue further study in health administration (M.H.A.), business administration (MBA), public health (MPH), or public administration (M.P.A.)
